My next project…
Will be to complete the wedding triumvirate and stitch something from our wedding. I’m planning on documenting my progress, stitching session by session. This could go on and on (the last portrait that I finished, of Rob’s parents, took me seven dedicated months).

My first foray into embroidering portraits free-hand (a Ban the Bomb protest that I attended with my brother and father in 1982). I bet you can’t figure out which one is the girl in the photo, right? I’m hanging out by myself on the far left, looking like a legitimately angry protestor.
